We love making bridge grant funds accessible to those who need them, so that they can live happier, healthier, richer lives- in whatever manner they choose. We also recognize that provide these one-time, stop-gap, solutions for individuals seeking affirming care is not a sufficient vehicle for effecting structural change.
Our bridge grants meet an immediate need but do not change the system which creates those needs.
We must ALSO build a world where health care providers are knowledgable in, and enthusiastic about providing, gender, sexuality and relationship diversity (GSRD) affirming care to their patients.
This is the driving mission behind our premier educational event, The Securing Sexuality Conference.
Hosted each autumn in Metro Detroit, The Bound Together Foundation brings together practitioners from across the fields of sexual medicine, mental health care, sexual health technology, and community advocacy for two days of professional development, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and continuing education.
Come gather with us to share, learn, brainstorm, and create opportunities to develop innovative solutions to the physical, emotional, relational, and systemic challenges faced by members of the GSRD community.
